Our group seeks internists who are committed to an interdisciplinary team-based approach to care and who provide high-quality primary care in a compassionate manner, healing body, mind, and spirit. The ideal candidate will commit to a multi-disciplinary team approach to patient care while demonstrating and modeling our organization's core values of reverence, a commitment to those who are poor, justice, stewardship, and integrity.The provider will also ensure compliance with standards of care and practice in accordance with all established policies, procedures, and guidelines used in the medical treatment facility and request timely consultation or referral with appropriate physicians, clinics, or other health resources as indicated. SAMG utilizes EPIC electronic health record (EHR) and EMR in its clinics. Thus, experience with EHR is desirable.Contractual incentives that reward quality of care and patient outcomes.Participation in teaching health care professionalsParticipation in community-based educational sessions for groups of patients and familiesDaily collegial interactions with a dozen other similarly oriented health care professionals.Requirements:Current, unrestricted Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner medical license in Idaho; Valid controlled substance registration with Idaho Board of Pharmacy and DEAstrong medical background and a desire to provide acute care to support a growing multi-specialty medical group.
