Summary

Kaiser Permanente-Washington Permanente Medical Group is seeking a part-time Hourly Optometrist to join our Silverdale Medical Center team in Silverdale, Washington.

Optometrists at Kaiser Permanente provide full-scope eye care in a multi-disciplinary setting, including the diagnosis and management of ocular health and visual function as well as ophthalmic manifestations of systemic disease and medications.

Our medical centers are fully equipped with the latest technologies and our teams includes skilled, well-trained, certified ophthalmic techs that provide support to our doctors.  We have a full service Optical dispensary and Epic electronic medical records at all practice locations. 

Silverdale Medical Center is a multispecialty medical center. Lab, Radiology and Pharmacy on site. Office hours are 8am - 5pm Monday through Friday with Urgent Care open 2pm - 10pm Monday through Friday and 11am - 7pm weekends.

Silverdale, with a population of 19,204, is located on the Kitsap Peninsula, situated ten miles northwest of the city of Bremerton and nine miles south of Poulsbo. The community lies at the north tip of Dyes Inlet, which connects it to Bremerton via Sinclair Inlet and the Pacific Ocean via Puget Sound. Qualifications

Education

Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited School of Optometry.

Experience

All applicants must possess a full range of clinical skills and an interest in working with an innovative group practice.

Preferred: Completion of one-year Optometry Residency program preferred.
