Job Title: Housekeeper Job Specialty: Environmental Services - Housekeeping Job Duration: 14 weeks Shift: 3x12.0 hours Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: 3 Years Required License: Not Applicable Certifications: Not Applicable Must-Have: Ability to read and follow written and/or oral instructions Job Description: - Clean assigned areas including floors, walls, sinks, lavatories, office areas, and furniture using prescribed procedures.- Perform terminal cleaning upon patient discharge, including changing bed linens.- Replenish supplies of paper products and hand soap in restrooms.- Collect waste, bag, compact, and dispose of it from assigned areas.- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of assigned equipment, linen, and trash carts.- Collect soiled linens and transport bags to designated pick-up areas.- Respond to special cleaning requests from other departments.- Move and arrange furniture for meetings and departmental changes.- Inform supervisor of unusual conditions, security, safety, or health hazards.- Perform other related work as required or requested.
