Job Summary

Education & Experience

High School diploma and/or experience in a hotel or a related fieldpreferred.

Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.

Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses ofaction quickly and accurately.

Must be able to multi-task.

Must be able to show initiative in job performance, includinganticipating what needs to be done before it becomes a necessity.

Must routinely meet deadlines.

Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace, includinganticipating, preventing, identifyingand solving problems as necessary.

Must have the ability to assimilate complex information, data, etc.,from disparate sources and consider, adjust or modify to meet the constraintsof the particular need.

Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying theconcerns and issues raised by coworkers and guests.

Must be able to work with and understand financial information anddata, and basic arithmetic functions.

Job Duties & Functions

Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly,service-oriented manner.

Greeting guests,. providing clear and accurate wait time and guiding guests to table.

Comply at all times with The Company's standards and regulations toencourage safe and efficienthotel operations.

Comply with certification requirements as required for the position toinclude Food Handlers , Alcohol Awareness, Safety, etc

Have a passion for customer service and strong communication skills

Know how to prepare cashier report at the end of the shift.

Know how to properly take reservations for outlets.

Ensure quality control of menus with regard to cleanliness andappearance.

Perform opening and closing duties according to established side workchecklist.

Ability to answer the telephone according to standards.

Have a complete knowledge of standards of service for receiving a roomservice order.

Have a thorough knowledge of menus and current specials in allapplicable departments.

Assist servers and cashiers in the servicing of guests as needed.

Know and understand the state liquor laws.

Perform other duties as requested by management.

Attend meetings/training as required by management.
