As the Global Benefits Senior Manager, you will have the opportunity to play a pivotal role in the success of our business. You will work across 14 countries to assist with crafting our employee benefits strategies and take the lead in planning, implementing and administering benefits programs. This role offers the chance to act as a trusted advisor to HR and executive leaders and other internal business partners. In addition, you will directly manage strategic benefits partnerships with external service providers.

The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?

  • Manage the post-acquisition integration of benefit plan synergies with third-party partnerships
  • Contribute to, and execute, the strategy and design for all benefit programs, with a focus on global expansion
  • Plan, manage and administer the employee benefits programs for the company, including health, retirement, savings accounts, Life/AD&D, Disability, perks and allowances, and time-off programs
  • Oversee the annual administration of benefits open enrollment and new employee benefits enrollment
  • Establish an effective operating model for managing the external services providers of our employee benefits program, and manage external solution providers
  • Manage vendor relationship with global brokerage and consulting partners, ensuring alignment to global benefits philosophy, assessing vendors performance and negotiating contract terms
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations such as FLSA, ERISA, and ACA in the US and local legislation globally
  • Guide the communications strategy, planning and execution for employee benefits with Corp Comms and other stakeholders
  • Conduct regular benchmarking and analysis to ensure the competitiveness and effectiveness of compensation and benefits offerings globally to support talent management
  • Partner with regional managers to ensure the total rewards strategies are aligned with organizational objectives and deliver consistent employee experience ensuring policies and programs are locally relevant
  • Lead M&A related due diligence and integration of benefits programs

What requirements and skills will I need to perform well in this role?

We are actively seeking an experienced Benefits program manager with an ability to operate in a fast-paced and evolving business environment.

Highly motivated and self-directed individual, with proven success in benefits domain knowledge, benefits administration and benefits vendor management.

  • Advising senior executive, HR and business leaders and partners
  • Ability to identify, quantify and address financial and operational risks of benefits programs
  • Hands-on experience in administering both U.S. and Global benefits plans
  • Vendor management experience and expertise
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills

What is the leadership like for this role? What is the structure and culture of the team like?

This role will report to the Chief HR Officer, Michael McCreary. This team member will play an integral role for the company. It’s a fast-paced, dynamic, and exciting environment. Our team members have big bold goals, a great attitude, are smart, thoughtful, collaborative, and organized.

Where is this role located?

Flexible: This leader is ideally located in Austin, TX but could also be based in the Silicon Valley of California or Atlanta, GA. The role is considered flexible and will be a mix of working remotely, but when required to travel into an office or when required to support planning activities.
