Diet Clerk Amsterdam Nursing Home Amsterdam Nursing Home is seeking a Diet Clerk for our Skilled Nursing Facility in New York City. Healthcare or food service experience required. DUTIES: Update and maintain resident dietary profiles Ensure accuracy of diet orders, allergies, textures & special requests Communicate diet changes to kitchen staff promptly Review menus & meal tickets for accuracy before service Assist Dietitian with nutritional care plan support Address resident/family dietary questions professionally Join meal rounds to ensure satisfaction & dietary compliance REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or equivalent Nursing home/healthcare dietary experience preferred Strong attention to detail; must follow written diet orders Good communication & organizational skills Ability to work well with dietary, nursing & clinical teams ABOUT US: Located on Amsterdam Ave at 112th Street near Columbia University and the Cathedral of St. John the Divine, Amsterdam Nursing Home offers old-world charm combined with state-of-the-art clinical care.
