Sr. Staff Accountant
About The Role
DUAL North America, Inc. is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to join the team. This is a full-time position with a hybrid working environment. The Senior Staff Accountant will support the Insurance Accounting group for the NBIS business unit in the Atlanta, GA area and will be responsible for monthly reporting to market partners, helping with the premium collection process, and assisting in additional duties as required.
Essential Functions
Preparing month-end reports to market partners
Analyzing and processing of amounts owed to market partners
Assisting with the collections process, including monitoring and researching aged items and resolving discrepancies
Dealing with claims-related issues, including deductible reporting
Reconciling and invoicing Self-Insured Retention accounts
Assisting in any carrier audit preparation
Helping with tasks for month-end closing
Other duties as required
Job Requirements (education, Experience, Skills)
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related area or an equivalent experience
5+ years of experience in an accounting department, with a background at an insurance agency/company strongly preferred
Ability and willingness to learn new software / systems
Detail-oriented
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Strong time management skills with a proven ability to meet tight deadlines
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (experience with lookups and pivot tables a must)
Previous experience with insurance administration systems (particularly AIM) desirable
Commitment to ethical behavior with a willingness to adhere to all company policies
