Cage Cashier PT

Purpose of Position:

Perform cash and cash-equivalent transactions. Assist in the tracking of cash movement as well as the person(s) conducting the transaction(s).

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

•Process cash redemptions, cash-equivalents, exchanges, cash-access transactions, jackpot payouts, Table Games fills and credits, Voucher Redemption Terminal drops, fills and maintenance.

•Issue and drop employee banks.

•Control, safeguard, reconcile, verify and report assigned Cage inventory and assets.

•Adhere to governmental regulations, Casino-wide and Cage policies, procedures and processes.

•Sell tickets, gift certificates, etc., as required.

•Maintain safety and cleanliness of assigned areas and alert management of any hazards throughout the Cage and the Casino.

•Provide prompt, courteous guest service to both internal and external guests at all times, following guest service standards.

•Provide information to guests regarding Casino locations, events, promotions, activities and offerings.

Additional Responsibilities:

•Perform other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:

•High school diploma or equivalent is required, unless otherwise waived by Human Resources Management.

•Minimum one (1) year of cash handling experience required. Bank Teller experience preferred.

•Excellent interpersonal communication, guest service, attention-to-detail and problem-solving skills.

Must be able to work Nights, Weekends, and Holidays
