We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team at Southwestern Mental Health Center. As the CFO, you will play a critical role in managing our financial operations and driving the financial success of our organization.

As a mental health care provider, we are passionate about improving the lives of our patients and ensuring they have access to high-quality care. As the CFO, you will have the opportunity to contribute to this mission by overseeing our financial strategy, budgeting, and forecasting. You will also be responsible for managing financial operations, such as financial reporting, accounting, and cash flow management.

In addition to financial management, you will work closely with our executive team to develop and implement strategic plans, set financial goals, and identify areas for improvement. You will also partner with external stakeholders, such as government agencies and insurance providers, to ensure compliance and maximize revenue potential.

The ideal candidate for this role is a strategic thinker with a strong financial background and proven experience in the mental health care industry. You should have a deep understanding of financial management principles and practices, as well as a track record of successfully leading a financial team. Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential, as you will be responsible for collaborating with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support the organization's goals and objectives
  • Oversee the financial planning and budgeting process, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing appropriate actions
  • Manage financial reporting and ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements
  • Implement and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard the organization's assets
  • Manage cash flow, including forecasting and monitoring liquidity needs
  • Collaborate with the executive team to develop and execute strategic plans

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • CPA or CFA designation is strongly preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
  • Proven experience in the mental health care industry or related field
  • Strong knowledge of financial management principles and practices
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Proven ability to manage complex financial operations
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
