The Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) is seeking highly skilled, motivated students to work alongside our world class engineers designing, documenting, and deploying software systems for the Air Force. Our students are an integral part of the design team and support project reviews, deliveries, integration, and validation.
The selected candidate must be able to work as part of a larger design team. You will need to own all aspects of your assigned responsibility alongside your mentor.

Candidates should have familiarity and interest in one or more of the following areas (please highlight any relevant experience in your application materials):
  • System architecture and design, including diagram creation
  • Basic understanding of requirements management and traceability
  • Automation of document generation
Required Qualifications:
  • Must be a USU student majoring in a related field
  • Must have at least two years in school remaining
  • Must be able to work effectively, both independently and as a team member
  • Strong communication, both written and verbal
  • Must be a US citizen
  • Must have the ability to obtain US Government security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Some programming experience, such as Python
  • Ability to utilize Excel to organize/manage data
  • Aptitude for self-learning computer programs
