Manual Machinist

We are currently seeking an experienced Manual Machinist to join an established Equipment Repair company in Gonzales. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the precision fabrication, maintenance, repair, and alteration of machinery, machine parts, tools, and equipment. Job Responsibilities: Set up and operate manual machines independently, ensuring precision work aligned with our reliability-focused objectives. Perform bench work to fabricate, repair, and alter machinery across heavy industries while prioritizing safety. Interpret complex blueprints, utilizing precision measuring instruments to achieve stringent tolerances. Utilize a range of precision machinery, shaping and fabricating components from various materials. Align fixtures, cutting tools, and accessories securely on machines, ensuring smooth operations. Evaluate experimental procedures and propose efficiency-enhancing adjustments. Maintain accurate records within our specialized tracking systems. Adhere to ISO requirements, safety protocols, quality policies, and regulations.Job Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent, technical/vocational training preferred. Proven Manual Machinist experience with precision machining and blueprint interpretation. Proficiency in using precision machinery and measurement tools. Ability to shape and fabricate parts from diverse materials. Familiarity with ISO requirements and dedication to safety protocols. Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills. Effective communication and teamwork abilities. Drug Screen and Background check are required. Type: Temp-to-HirePay range: $20.00-$30.00/hourSchedule: Monday-Friday
