Lead Process Engineer

Our client, a prominent player in the manufacturing sector, is dedicated to optimizing production processes and ensuring the highest standards of efficiency and quality. Focus:

  • Lead efforts to optimize manufacturing processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Oversee the maintenance and troubleshooting of production equipment to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.
  • Collaborate with quality assurance teams to uphold product quality standards and implement corrective actions to address deviations.
  • Provide training and guidance to production staff on best practices, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and safety protocols to ensure compliance and competency.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement by implementing lean manufacturing principles, conducting root cause analysis, and facilitating problem-solving initiatives.
  • Utilize data analysis techniques to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize production processes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of production processes, equipment maintenance records, and quality control procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Skill Set:

  • Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering or related engineering field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an injection molding or extrusion environment, with hands-on experience in process optimization, equipment maintenance, or related roles.
  • Proficiency in operating manufacturing equipment and familiarity with industrial machinery. Experience with troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve production goals and objectives.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively under pressure to meet production deadlines.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety regulations and protocols.
