PURPOSEThe purpose of the Material Handler position is to perform tasks to ensure all work instructions related to the fulfillment of customer orders are followed.ESSENTIAL DUTIESAdherence to all department work instructionsEnsure respective area is compliant with 5S standardsProcess all tasks associated with established customer order fulfillment standards as distributed by managementExecute basic to advanced work flow tasks on established WMS/ERP SMC systemsReport product location discrepancies to managementReport all inventory discrepancies to managementProficiency in essential job functions for Material Handler according to the Job Function Performance metricsStrong attention to detailAdherence to all safety rulesAdherence to all Quality Management system standards and policiesAbility to meet established productivity and quality standardsPHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENTPhysical demands require the person to regularly stand, walk, and use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms.The person is frequently required to lift 25 pounds or greater, climb or balance, stoop or kneel, crouch or crawl. Must be able to effectively communicate with command of the English language.The work environment will expose employee to the following elements: Noise, Heat, Cold, Dust.Must be able to drive for long periods of time if the position requires that you drive a Powered Industrial Truck.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSHigh School Diploma or equivalentPrior experience in a warehouse environment desirablePass Accuracy Test prior to employmentAbility to work well in a team environmentDetail orientedAbility to effectively communicateMust pass basic to advance skill level testing as indicated on the evolving Performance MetricBasic computer and RF Scanner skills preferredMust have a valid driver's license if the position requires that you drive a Powered Industrial TruckMust pass a written exam and driving evaluation for operation of Motorized Industrial Transporters if the position requires that you drive a Powered Industrial TruckOther details Pay Type Hourly Apply Now
