As the Failure Analysis Engineer you will be responsible for designing equipment, analyzing modifications, managing projects and producing documentation. If you're ready to build a career you can be proud of, we have the opportunity for you to grow with GXO.Pay, benefits and more.We are eager to attract the best, so we offer competitive compensation and a generous benefits package, including full health insurance (medical, dental and vision), 401(k), life insurance, disability and more.What you'll do on a typical day: Evaluate and document existing processes by performing failure analysis and testing, including regression testing and system testing Collaborate with appropriate engineers, suppliers, and contract manufacturers to drive resolution to the identified failure causes Identify and drive implementation of new process & tools required to improve quality and processing speed Provide support to operations and engineering teams, including troubleshooting and resolving issues and ensuring changes are adequately tested Recommend modifications following prototype test results; consider the implications of issues such as cost, safety and time constraints Develop detailed test documentation, check all engineering documentation for accuracy, quality and completenessWhat you need to succeed at GXO:At a minimum, you'll need: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work or military experience 1 year of experience in testing, failure analysis and automation Solid knowledge of problem solving and root cause analysis methodologies, concepts, processes, and documentation It'd be great if you also have: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology or related field 3 years of experience in testing, failure analysis and automation Experience analyzing and solving problems with electrical, mechanical and pneumatic devices Ability to learn and understand the functionality of multiple logistics-related systems; ability to learn and achieve proficiency in new software applications, technologies, and tools We engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.#appcastrequestGXO is a leading provider of cutting-edge supply chain solutions to the most successful companies in the world.
