JOB SUMMARY:
Create connections. Craft cocktails. You are responsible for preparing and serving inspired drinks while delivering distinctive experiences for guests. You are the charming individual that impresses guests with your beverage expertise and techniques in an unmatched, expertly maintained atmosphere.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead training for new hires and support ongoing training programs
- Assist management team with purchasing and inventory
- Participate in drink menu creation and operational execution (prep, systems, etc.)
- Prepare and serve liquor, mixed drinks, wine, beer, and nonalcoholic drinks for bar and restaurant patrons
- Interact with customers, taking orders and serving food and drinks
- Assess bar customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Maintain the bar and keep it clean and organized
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Ability to perform essential functions on the computerized Point of Sale system.
- Working knowledge and ability to mix and serve a wide variety of drinks.
- Working knowledge of the proper operation of all bar equipment.
- Working knowledge of applicable liquor laws and regulations.
- Working knowledge of standard cash handling procedures.
- Current State Food Handler's License and State Mixologist Permit required.
- At least one year of related education, training and/or experience.
- Extensive knowledge of drink preparation or service.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and focus on serving customers.
- Ability to learn cash register software used by bar or restaurant.
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
