By embracing these values,we aim to create an innovative and inclusive culture that positively impactseach resident and employee.Grand Prairie of Macomb is seeking a Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our clinical teamResponsibilities:Hires, trains, schedules, and leads the clinical team in providing exceptional care experiencesCoordinates the Community's infection control program while maintaining state regulatory complianceDevelops and oversees the Community's medication management programContributes toward quality assurance and performance improvement initiativesComplies with all rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of team members and resident informationConducts initial assessment of prospectiveresidents, including off-site visits (home visits, hospital visits)Performs wellness assessments and developsindividualized care plans based on the needs and preferences of eachresidentDelivers health promotion services, offersdisease prevention counseling, and provides self-care education to residentsEngages with residents and family members in acompassionate and impactful manner, creating a lasting and positive experienceFosters communication by regularly engaging withphysicians, pertinent healthcare providers, and family membersQualifications:Maintains current state nursing licensure, RN preferredMinimum of two (2) years nursing supervisoryexperiencePrior senior/supportive living experience stronglypreferredExcellent written and verbal communication skillsMust possess leadership and supervisory abilityand the readiness to mentor, motivate, and inspire team membersDemonstrates exceptional interpersonal skillsand ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignityBenefits & Beyond:Growth opportunitiesSelf-service payroll (PayCom)Medical, dental, and vision benefit packagesavailableDailyPayWork-life balance | Paid Time Off401(k) employer match biweeklyEAP & Maven family planning programGardant Management Solutions proudly oversees the operationsof this Community.
