The Nuclear Pharmacist is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the facility, while maintaining regulatory compliance & quality standards. They will work closely and collaboratively with the Director of Radiopharmacy Operations and the entire team to operate the Radiopharmacy. A BAMF Health Pharmacist is a leader and is expected to lead by example to support the operations team and the general functioning of the Radiopharmacy.

Ideal candidates will have prior experience with cyclotron manufacturing operations and an exemplary track record of working in a cross-functional team.

Duties and Responsibilities, including but not limited to:

  • Participates in the operations related to: Production of radionuclide, preparation and testing of radiopharmaceuticals, and dispensing of radiopharmaceuticals
  • Works in multi-disciplinary teams (radiochemists, pharmacists, technicians, QA/QC, etc.) and maintain a high standard of performance and professionalism in line with BAMF Health's company culture standards.
  • Compliance with all regulatory commitments including the cGMP, Radiation Safety, Pharmacy laws and corporate policies and procedures and other applicable Federal, State and Local authorities
  • Perform aseptic techniques, including sterility test and pyrogen testing per company standard operating procedures
  • Able to perform QC procedures using analytical equipment and chemical tests per company standard operating procedures
  • Ensures accurate completion of applicable documents and records. Involved with staff training and development.
  • Participates in the operation and maintenance of cyclotron, chemistry modules, QC equipment and associated software
  • Ensures site is clean, orderly and a safe working environment
  • Provides exemplary customer service, including telephone support and customer visits as necessary
  • Supports BAMF Health Clinic pharmaceutical inventory needs
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy required
  • Background in Nuclear Pharmacy, Positron Emission Tomography, Radiation safety, and/or knowledge of cyclotron processes required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Doctorate of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) preferred
  • 2 years experience in production of radionuclides and dispensing radiopharmaceuticals preferred
  • Experience with cyclotron operations and PET Radiopharmacy experience highly preferred
  • Experience with the manufacturing of FDG, Sodium Fluoride, and Ga68 preferred
Schedule Details:

Multiple positions available

Hours: 8 hour shift with start time between 12:00 a.m.- 6:00 a.m. Rotating shift- TBD.

Days: Monday to Friday, with potential weekend rotations depending on business need (day off during week if working a weekend day)
