Serves as a primary instructor of CNA class, and clinical instruction for CNA, LPN, and RN Programs. Will be responsible for planning and implementing the CNA curriculum and collaborating with CEI in evaluating and testing of CNA candidates. Must be approved by the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare (DHW) as an approved CNA Instructor and show evidence of completing a Train-the-Trainer type program if not already completed.Experience: : Evidence of two (2) years' experience working as a registered nurse and evidence of one (1) year experience in caring for the elderly in a Long-Term Care Facility or equivalent as an RN. Evidence of completion of a course in methods of instruction or a Train-the-Trainer program. Idaho DHW approved CNA Instructor, preferred.Equipment/Technology: Microsoft Office Suite, online learning management system (LMS) software, education and training equipmentLanguage/Communication: Ability to read, speak, and write in EnglishMental Capabilities: Ability to critically think, be self-motivated and individually manage tasks and responsibilities. Requires attention to detail and ability to assimilate large amounts of information.
