Job Quick Facts: • Specialty: Vascular Surgery - NP/PA • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Facility Location: Syracuse, NY • Service Setting: Inpatient • Reason For Coverage: Supplemental • Coverage Period: Aug 1 - Oct 31, 2025 • Coverage Type: Clinical + Call • Shift Schedule: Typically; 10-12 hour shifts - 7a-7p, 7a-5p, 9a-9p, 7p/9p-7a - Prefer willingness to cover all shifts/days • Call Schedule: 1 day/week; 7p-7a • Patient Demographics: Adults (18+ years old) • No. of OR Cases per day: 3-5 • Rounding included: Yes, 3-5 • Required Duties: - Pre-Op Physical Exams, Suture Removal - Diagnose Illnesses, Treat Illnesses - Order Tests, Interpret Tests, Assist in Surgery - Write Prescriptions, Coordination of Care - Rounding, Removal of permcaths/CVCs • EMR: Epic • Other Info: - Will work autonomously - Must also be comfortable managing inpatient/internal medicine (hypertension, diabetes, medical management) - On call physician available 24/7 & primary surgeon for each patient is also available • Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered Requirements: • Active NY License • BC (NCCPA, ANCC/AANP) • BLS, ACLS • NP must have RNFA certification
