1+ years experience Budget Preparation, preparation of complex Models
Excel - lookups, pivot tables
experience using financial reporting software
Manufacturing, Consumer Product Goods, Distribution or industry experience
Nice to have:
Power BI or other data visualization software
Reporting directly to the Director of Finance, this position entails a range of financial responsibilities including conducting thorough financial analyses, scrutinizing financial statements, performing month-end analytical reviews, and taking charge of monthly forecasts and annual budget preparation. Moreover, the role involves spearheading financial business modeling initiatives.
A key aspect of this role involves enhancing reporting accuracy, evaluating working capital, reducing cycle times, and delving into cash flow analytics. Additionally, the position entails engaging in various value-adding ad hoc projects as they emerge. Indirectly reporting to the VP of FP&A at our parent company, this role necessitates close collaboration with both local and parent company executive teams.
We are seeking a proactive and ambitious professional with exceptional multitasking abilities. The ideal candidate should demonstrate a strong desire to streamline processes, minimize cycle times, and actively pursue projects to enrich their professional portfolio.
- Collaborate closely with the Director of Finance throughout the entirety of the closing process, providing comprehensive review and analysis support.
- Drive projects aimed at establishing standardized procedures in critical domains such as Pricing, Working Capital Optimization, Monthly Gross Margin Analysis, Sales and Margin Forecasting, General Ledger Allocations, Divisional Reporting, and other emerging areas.
- Partnering with the Director of Finance, actively participate in and contribute to pivotal financial functions including Annual Budgeting, Monthly and Quarterly Forecasting, Capital Expenditure Analysis and Reporting, Revenue Projections spanning 3-months to 6-months, Strategic Planning and Analysis, as well as Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews.
- Collaborate with organizational leadership to refine and develop robust business case assessments, fostering informed decision-making regarding projects and capital expenditures.
- Undertake diverse ad-hoc assignments and projects across various departments, encompassing month-end financial reporting, long-term business plan formulation, benchmarking exercises, and process evaluations.
- Conduct thorough analyses of the company's operational practices, pinpointing opportunities for enhancing financial efficiency and optimizing processes.
- Undertake additional projects and analyses as directed by business needs, ensuring responsiveness to evolving requirements and priorities.
