Description

Parallel Ag is seeking a proactive and highly organized Recruiting Coordinator to join our team. This position will serve as the primary point of contact for all recruitment activities and will report directly to the Director of Human Resources. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our talent acquisition efforts, leveraging their knowledge of our HRIS and demonstrating exceptional communication skills to support our recruitment initiatives.

Job Description: As the Recruiting Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the recruitment process and serving as the main liaison between candidates, hiring managers, and the HR team. Reporting directly to the Director of Human Resources, you will leverage your knowledge of Paycom to streamline recruitment processes and ensure accuracy in candidate tracking and documentation. Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all recruitment-related inquiries and communication
  • Coordinate job postings on various online platforms using Paycom, ensuring accuracy and completeness of job descriptions
  • Manage candidate applications and track candidate statuses in Paycom, providing regular updates to the recruitment team
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a smooth and efficient interview process
  • Conduct initial screenings of candidates to assess qualifications and fit for open positions
  • Assist with candidate background checks, reference checks, and other pre-employment screening processes as needed
  • Provide administrative support to the human resources team, including managing candidate correspondence, maintaining recruitment databases, and organizing recruitment events
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in recruitment, making recommendations for process improvements as necessary
  • Collaborate with the Director of Human Resources regarding candidates, recommendations, and events
Qualifications

Qualifications:
  • Minimum one year of experience in recruiting, or a related field
  • Knowledge of EEOC requirements
  • Proven experience in recruitment coordination or a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong knowledge of Paycom with the ability to effectively navigate and utilize its features preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with candidates, hiring managers, and team members
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Google Workspace (Google Docs, Sheets, etc.) and other office software, and experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS)
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including professional etiquette and interpersonal abilities
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

Physical Demands:

The position primarily involves sedentary work, requiring sitting for extended periods while performing administrative tasks. Some standing or walking may be necessary during meetings or when accessing office equipment. Manual dexterity and visual acuity are essential for operating office equipment and completing tasks accurately. While minimal physical effort is required for lifting or carrying light objects, proper ergonomic practices should be observed to prevent discomfort or strain. Additionally, some tasks may involve prolonged screen time and repetitive motions, highlighting the importance of maintaining good posture and taking regular breaks to reduce potential fatigue or eye strain.
