Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Waterville, Maine cw Waterville, Maine: We invite a caring Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join a thriving outpatient primary care practice in this growing college town 75 minutes from Portland. This practice is managed by a 192-bed regional medical center located 20 miles away in Augusta, Maine's dynamic capital city. This physician-led medical center is the Kennebec Valley's largest private employer and Maine’s third largest healthcare system, committed to positively impact the health of the community through services and involvement. Newly certified Psych NPs are encouraged to apply for this newly created position. The addition of a mental health provider to collaborate with a team of physicians and primary care APPs has proven successful in this hospital’s outpatient groups, and you will be the second PMHNP in this office. You will join as a clinical leader, providing direct patient care and aiding others in decision making, developing and implementing treatment plans, and improving the overall quality of care. You will make psychiatric evaluations and provide counseling and medication management for adult patients. You will have an excellent referral network and plenty of support.
