**HOURS** : 42 hours per week working 4 12 hour shifts and then 4 off

We have an exciting opportunity for a Production Shift Manager to join our recycling site in Selby
**WHAT OUR PRODUCTION SHIFT MANAGERS DO:**
Responsible for production performance to meet or improve upon targets for safety, cost, quality, delivery, equipment and people
Identifying, planning, implementing and sustaining best practice within the production facility
Supporting the development of the sites business plan (to deliver operational strategy), with responsibility for the implementation / execution across the production facility.
Developing a high-performing production team with a culture of delivery and continuous improvement through effective management activities.
Permit and all relevant legislation, company policies & procedures.
Responsible for overall monitoring of equipment condition and performance to ensure ongoing capability to produce products to meet production targets
Responsible for ensuring manpower is effectively utilised to meet production facility targets.
Develop high-performing production teams with a culture of delivery and continuous improvement
Identify, plan, implement and sustain best practice within the production facility
Take an active involvement in identifying opportunities & solutions for continuous improvement
Responsible for site health & safety during shift
