Director of Financial Planning and Analysis

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of FP&A to join our client’s finance team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving the financial planning and analysis functions, providing insightful analysis, and supporting strategic decision-making processes. This is a key leadership position with a clear path to senior executive roles within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the financial planning and analysis function, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support decision-making.
Develop and maintain financial models to analyze business performance and guide financial strategies.
Oversee the preparation and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Collaborate with various departments to ensure alignment of financial goals and objectives.
Monitor key financial metrics and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
Support M&A activities, including due diligence and integration processes.
Manage and mentor a team of FP&A professionals, fostering a culture of growth and development.
Continuously improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
Minimum of 6+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably within the SaaS or supply chain industries.
Proven track record of success in a leadership role, with the ability to influence and drive strategic initiatives.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting tools.
Experience with ERP systems and financial software.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
