The Director of Marketing role is located at Associated Packaging, Inc. headquarters in Gallatin, TN. This role is responsible for the vision, development and execution of marketing plans (online and offline), creating marketing materials, and managing resources. This position will work across sales, operations and marketing functions to grow our brand identity and drive marketing impact in support of sales growth and increasing brand awareness with digital and non-digital assets. Additionally, this role will support coordination of CRM tools and effective utilization within marketing plans.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop marketing and brand strategies to support organizational growth objectives. Knowledge of and ability to apply marketing strategies and digital marketing tactics is critical.
  • Lead Brand Identity development and alignment to ongoing growth in programs/services of the Company. Support of company's dual channels of direct sales/core business with newer ecommerce business is critical.
  • Oversee content creation and development for Company websites, ecommerce site, social media, and digital/print marketing materials including brochures, presentations and sales tools.
  • Drive growth of relevant B2B customers to company websites (core site & ecommerce site) with the goal of improving brand recognition and trust, ultimately driving purchase intent.
  • Plan and execute all digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, CRM utilization, email, social media, etc. Establish and measure KPIs to demonstrate success and ROI.
  • Lead the development and execution of marketing campaigns to drive awareness, increase sales, and create loyalty. Develop and manage timelines and project workload for initiatives.
  • Develop best CRM practices and use cases to support sales, marketing and customer needs, including leads, managing contacts/opportunities, and new quoting process through CRM.
  • Create & execute customer growth and retention campaigns with effective use of CRM tools supporting sales teams.
  • Support customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points utilizing strong analytical skills, measuring customer satisfaction and feedback. Marketing support of customer experience expected in future ecommerce expansion of core business.
  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Continuously monitor new digital technologies and web analytics tools to better optimize marketing campaigns, email marketing, social media and search advertising.
  • Manage marketing processes, staff, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of results. Manage marketing budget.
  • Marketing support of event planning within the Company, including National Sales Meeting.
  • Collaborate with supplier partners to develop materials supporting marketing and sales efforts.
  • Assist and perform other projects and tasks as needed
Education and/or Experience:
  • Required Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Digital Technologies or similar relevant field; Master's degree will be given special consideration
  • 5+ years of Marketing and Brand management; B2B marketing a plus
  • Knowledge of all different digital marketing channels; online marketing experience (email, SEM); Google AdWords Qualification a plus
  • Familiarity with web design
  • Experience managing and building/maintaining relationships with outside agencies and vendors
  • Ability to think strategically as well as tactically.
  • Ability to analyze data, make sound observations, and implement solutions; strong analytical skills; interested in creating solutions to problems or methodology for improved deliverables
Competencies:
  • Photoshop, copywriting, video editing and marketing, content management skills
  • Team player, excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
