Summary:
Serves as an Operations Specialist with responsibility for the execution of William Beaumont Army Medical Center contingency plans. Located at William Beaumont Army Medical Center (WBAMC) Operations & Readiness Division.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, and executing functions related to all missions for and within William Beaumont Army Medical Center (WBAMC).
Conduct mission analysis, risk analysis, and preparations of missions directed by Medical Command (MEDCOM) and Regional Medical Command (RMC).
Activate and operate the Emergency Operations Center.
Interface with the Fort Bliss Operation Center (FBOC) as required.
Participate in clarifying Commanders Guidance to staff elements.
Requirements:
Qualifications Who May Apply:

Specialized Experience:
One year of specialized experience which includes managing the development of plans and tasks for long-range projects by preparing and prioritizing tasks to provide status reports to management. Developing procedures by collecting, compiling, analyzing, or reporting data relating to tasking reports to create operations orders, and/or tasking memorandums using information from available resources.
Education:
Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Business Management or Operations Management.
Combination of Education and Experience:
A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%.
Additional Information:
Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. One year trial/probationary period may be required. Direct deposit of pay is required.
