As a non-profit system of almost 4000 employees, we have won national acclaim for our cancer, cardiac, stroke, bariatric, breast imaging, and rehabilitation services. $113,189/YR. minimum - $169,784/YR maximum (range increases based on education, experience and certifications) Responsible for leadership and management for Facilities Engineering at MHC, SJMH, SO/Remote Sites, and CMA; and Security Management at SJMH and MHC. Job Roles

Safety Manages processes effectively in regard to employee/patient safety.

Record Keeping Maintains all required records, reports, statistics, logs, files and other documents as required, including but not limited to payroll, schedules and status changes.

Department Management Maintains 24 hour accountability for department, making independent decisions to implement strategies and programs for patient focus. Delegates authority and accountability to staff to ensure optimal outcomes and staff engagement. Evaluates effectiveness of unit/department based programs and processes to ensure optimal outcomes.

Process Improvement Promotes a culture of process improvement by establishing unit/department based programs that supports the system’s process improvement goals. Actively participates on system-wide or hospital-based teams. Staffing Manages the unit/department effectively in regards to staffing and staff supervision.

Role Specific Responsibilities Complies with hospital, safety, environmental, building, construction, and infection control codes and requirements of accreditation and regulatory agencies for building, grounds, and construction in progress. Acts as owner’s representative in construction management services projects as assigned. Preserves the assets of the organization through effective equipment selection and maintenance. Implements overall security strategy, policies, and standards to maintain physical safety for all visitor, employees, and patients at all SIH locations. Provides consultant services to other SIH departments in areas related to facilities engineering, security and safety, , applicable design and construction. Education • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field. Licenses and Certification • Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM) certification. Experience and Skills • Supervisory Experience: 5 years. • Technical Experience: 5 years in Facilities Maintenance Field.
