This position will have an annual service period of 12 months (July 1 June 30). Professors WOT hold indefinite appointments that align with a 12-month service period (July 1 June 30). Faculty with 12-month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12-month period (July-June), meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off. This full-time, 12-month service period position will be located at University of Washington Medical Center-Northwest (UWMC-NW). The salary will be commensurate with applicants training, qualifications, and experience, with an expected start date in Spring 2026. This position is for a senior faculty member with a particular focus in in superficial and complex venous procedures. The position will have a clinical deployment at UWMC-Northwest with clinical responsibilities that include a wide range of evaluation, consultation and surgical treatment services for adult vascular surgery patients. This position will take a full complement of system call covering Harborview Medical Center, UWMC Montlake and Northwest Campuses. The Vascular Surgery practice at UWMC-Northwest is diverse. The clinical responsibilities for this position include: Venous-Superficial and Complex deep recanalization Dialysis Access Limb Preservation; both open and endovascular procedures Intra-operative Vascular Emergencies Carotid procedures In addition to clinical practice the position will participate in the education of surgical residents and medical students. The successful candidate will be expected to implement participation in nationwide clinical venous trials . All University of Washington faculty engage in teaching, research, and service. At the rank of Professor (WOT), the base salary range for this position will be: $46,667- $51,667 per month ($560,004 - $620,004 annually). Base salaries at all ranks will be commensurate with candidate experience and qualifications. This range is inclusive of base salary provided through the UW Physicians (UWP) practice plan, in addition to base salary provided by the University. Other compensation associated with this position may include variable incentive through UWP. Please note that only compensation provided by the University is included in University benefit determinations and calculations. Compensation provided by UW Physicians (UWP) practice plan may provide eligibility for separate benefits offered by that organization.
