Sr. Systems Analyst - Epic Cadence/Referrals Location: Houston, TX Salary: $60,000.00$85,000.00 (posted 2 months ago) Were searching for a Senior Epic Systems Analyst (Epic Cadence/Referrals) who is ready to be part of the best ranked childrens hospital in Texas and among the best in the nation. In this position, you will have a major role in developing Epic application solutions by investigating processes to understand data and communications flow with individual tasks and transactions within an Integrated Delivery System. Job Duties & Responsibilities Translates users needs into detailed requirement specifications. Identifies system or application needs. Analysis of current business practices, user needs and workflow processes. Document the current as-is and to-be business processes. Perform vendor analysis and make recommendations. Investigate alternative solutions including feasibility studies using results from vendor analysis/evaluations. Facilitate and support Epic system installation through the implementation cycle. Performs configuration analysis for system design. Analyzes system problems and modifications. Coordinate implementation and upgrades of systems. Participate in the IDS Committee as an IS representative. Skills & Requirements Required: H.S. Diploma or GED. Preferred: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or another related field. Required: 9 years experience in hospital information systems selection, implementation, and support. Bachelors degree will substitute four (4) years of work experience; Masters degree will substitute for two (2) years of work experience. Up to two (2) years of clinical patient care and/or clinical research experience may substitute for up to two (2) years of information systems experience on a month-to-month basis. Direct work experience at the Epic Systems Corporation will be counted at a premium, with every one (1) year of Epic Systems Corporation experience counted as two (2) years of experience. Preferred Epic Cadence certification or Epic Referrals and Authorizations certification.
