Operations Assistant (Onsite - 5 days per week) Overview: The Operations Assistant at Weedmaps supports the company with a very broad range of tasks targeted towards administrative support, office organization, cleanliness, and general support tasks. This role is the primary support to our HQ and a successful candidate must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to handle a variety of duties simultaneously with a great attitude. This support function is vital in assisting the Facilities Manager and the people operations team in day-to-day activities but not limited to these areas. The impact you'll make: Oversee food and beverage services, including restocking of snacks & beverages and ordering lunch for the office daily. Execute facility maintenance and repair related tasks at HQ. Examples include changing light bulbs, hanging white boards and wall art, basic furniture repairs, moving furniture, painting walls, etc. Must be comfortable on a ladder and have basic competency with tools. Monitor and restock office supplies. Develop and maintain SOPs to streamline office operations. Manage third-party vendors for office utilities and maintenance, such as internet services and facility providers, etc. Work closely with the Workplace team at HQ to assist with internal events and programs. Collaborate with the HQ Workplace team to plan and execute internal events, including but not limited to 420, 710, and holiday parties. Manage the corporate apartment calendar, cleaning schedules, pre-arrival communications, and monthly apartment utility payments. Support HQ Workplace team with internal programs, including Foodja and miscellaneous employee benefits like flower deliveries. Create Workplace graphics, including signs, menus, and other materials as needed. Research and coordinate food trucks and catering vendors for HQs weekly Tuesday meals. Develop and maintain an efficient inventory and ordering system for office supplies, collaborating with the other Operations Assistant to ensure items are consistently in stock.
