Overview

The Warehouse Manager oversees operations at Reliable Restorations, a general construction /restoration company. The warehouse ensures that all incoming and outgoing inventory is processed according to schedule. This professional multitasker will manage and oversee the receiving, handling, storing, picking, and packing activities within the warehouse, ensuring quality standards are met at every turn.

Hours

Typical working hours are Monday through Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with a 2.5-hour lunch and half a day on Fridays. There will be times when an earlier or later start/finish will be required. Availability on weekends and after hours is also required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

●     Move inventory and materials throughout the warehouse

●     Process inventory for deliveries/pickups

●     Sort, organize, and store inventory in the proper location in a timely manner

●     Report damaged or missing inventory to the Project Coordinator and supervisors

●     Stack and organize large bulk items

●     Handle and operate necessary tools and accessories in maintaining and managing a warehouse.

●     Move materials from storage to the pick-up area or other locations

●     Ensure the workspace is free of debris and remove safety hazards

●     Ensure warehouse and storage areas are clean at all times

●     Work as an active team member to complete team goals

●     Organizing and maintaining up-to-date records of inventory

●     Operates a forklift to load and unload, move, or stack materials

●     Receiving and documenting merchandise for delivery or return

●     Keeping an inventory of all merchandise entering or exiting the warehouse

●     Identifying any missing, lost, or damaged materials and tools and immediately notify the supervisor.

●     Ensuring that all the merchandise is safely and securely packed and labeled for shipping

●     Scanning labels to ensure products are shipped to the right destination.

●     Integrate best practices in handling warehouse materials

●     Managing all inventory materials with appropriate care.

●     You have a lot of duties in your current job description; however, in a restoration business, many duties remain to be filled, and others may have too much work to complete effectively. You will be asked to locate these additional responsibilities and develop creative solutions.

●     No cell phones are allowed on the job for personal calls. Only emergencies

Safety and Compliance

●     Must follow all health and safety procedures and regulations as dictated by the organization and the state.

Physical Requirements

●     Must lift heavy items up to 50lbs on a routine basis, (80lbs occasionally)

●     Prolonged periods of standing and walking

Education and Experience

●     High school degree or equivalent

●     Bilingual English/Spanish (required)

●     Industrial-related knowledge and education

●     Basic computer skills are preferred

●      Warehouse Management Experience (required)

●      Proven experience driving heavy vehicles (trucks, utility trailers, dumpsters, etc.)
