Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent required.A minimum of one to two years of related experience in a distribution-related environment and a GMP environment is required.The ability to lift up to 50 lbs is required.Experience operating a forklift truck, pallet jack, and other material-handling equipmentExperience working in Biotechnology, Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, and/or Consumer Product Manufacturing is preferredExperience working with SAP is preferred.This position requires the ability to work overtime hours when required. Responsibilities: Pick/Pack customer and manufacturing orders to conform with order instructions, transportation regulations, and department SOP's. Load all freight on carriers in accordance with Shipping and manifest reports and Bills of LadingUnload truck and palletize all incoming materials and store/deliver to appropriate area/individual. Visually identifies and inspects incoming materials for accuracy and condition prior to signing receipt documents. Enters computerized receipt information into the MRP system where applicableControls, handles, and stores manufacturing components, raw materials, chemicals, finished goods, instrumentation, and hazardous materials from receipt to issue. Maintains inventory accuracy, and proper storage of materials by status and ensures that all materials are moved on a timely basis.Generate carrier manifest reports, order status reports, and shipping labels. Process opening and closing of the day checklist in accordance with department SOP'sProcess all materials for scrap when required in accordance with medical and/or hazardous waste regulations along with receipt, storage, and destruction of returned goods in accordance with the Return Goods PolicyMaintains the work area in a neat and orderly fashion at all times and complies with cGMP's and Good Housekeeping PracticesThis is not an exhaustive, comprehensive listing of job functions. May perform other duties as assigned. The normal hours for this position will be 8:30am - 5:00pm.
