Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you'll be responsible for accurately estimating project costs and ensuring the seamless execution of our concrete projects. Pay- 80K-110k DOE  Bonus opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough estimates for concrete projects, considering all relevant factors.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers and other team members to ensure accurate project planning.
  • Review project documents and specifications to understand project requirements.
  • Utilize industry knowledge and best practices to develop competitive and accurate bids.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders throughout the estimating process.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and material availability to inform the estimating process.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior estimators as needed.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve estimating processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

  • Must have 5 years of experience in concrete estimating, with a focus on commercial concrete projects.
  • Proficiency in estimating software and tools, such as Bluebeam, Planswift, On-Screen Takeoff, or similar.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills, with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
