Job Summary:The Nurse Manager is responsible for the 24 hour, seven day a week functions of a clinical nursing unit(s).What you will do in this role:Administers, plans and evaluates the activities of the department(s) to ensure quality patient care.Develops goals, policies and procedures, prepares and submits operating and capital budgets, participates in multidisciplinary QI teams, consults with staff, physicians and other departments as needed.Manages staffing patterns with the assistance of Assistant Nurse Managers and the House Supervisors on a shift-to-shift basis. Follows policies and procedures. Participates in the Quality Improvement process and adheres to facility standards of behaviorWhat qualifications you will need:Florida RN licensure requiredAssociate's Degree required, Bachelor's Degree preferredA minimum of one (1) year management experience is preferredAdvanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 90 days of employment start dateBasic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start dateNonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 90 days of employment start datePALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 90 days of employment start dateThis role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).- MUST HAVE ASN- MUST have at least 3-5 years of charge RN exp in the ER-Salary- ranges from $85-105K heavily based on experience(would be willing to push to $108-110K for a STELLAR candidate, but no higher than that)
