Systems Engineer Technical Support Specialist

We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled Systems Engineer to join our Professional Services team, based in Timonium, MD. This role is pivotal in providing exceptional in-house technical support and conducting thorough system testing to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our products.
Your Role:
Reporting directly to the VP of Professional Services, you will be instrumental in offering technical support, facilitating system testing, and contributing to the enhancement of Airista Flow products. Your technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment will be key to your success in this position.

You possess a deep understanding of 802.11 WLAN technologies, IP networking, software systems, servers (including VMWare), and are keen to expand this knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver remote technical support and problem resolution for Airista Flow customers and partners through phone, web, and email.
Collaborate with the Professional Services team to conduct end-to-end RTLS solution testing for new software and hardware products.
Test interoperability with various partner solutions, including WLAN infrastructures (e.g., Cisco, Aruba), hardware solutions (e.g., VoIP), Application Layers, and middleware solutions.
Provide vital feedback from product and customer insights to enhance product development.
Assist in creating and updating technical documentation for our solutions.
This role is based at our corporate headquarters and does not require travel.
Qualifications:
Education:

Bachelors degree or equivalent technical certification in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Additional business education is a plus.
Experience:

1-5 years in the technology field, preferably with experience in 802.11 networks, software applications, and mobility solutions. Knowledge of networking and routing, protocol analysis, and mobile-device support is preferred.
Communication:

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with a diverse range of individuals.
Problem-Solving:

Strong critical thinking, reasoning, and problem-solving abilities.
