Job Summary As a Linen Specialist PRN at HCA Florida Memorial Hospital you will manage linen and textile products, ensure safety, handle waste, deliver supplies, maintain data, collaborate on patient experience, and order items as needed. Responsibilities Adhere to safety and linen/textile policies. Adhere to storage, handling and disposal of RMW, RCRA/Hazmat, solid waste and linen/textiles. Manage parcels/quantities of linen, scrubs, microfiber products, curtains or other textiles. Deliver linen, scrubs, microfiber products, curtains or other textiles to patient care/non?patient care areas. Stock linen, scrubs, microfiber products, curtains or other textiles in patient care/non?patient care areas. Pickup, removal, transport of linen, scrubs, microfiber products, curtains or other textiles. Enter linen data into the computerized linen management system and generate reports. Manage service recovery as needed. Manage linen/textiles to meet or exceed facility linen expense and loss goals. Correctly utilize all supplies and resources at all times to eliminate waste. Collaborate with leadership on recommendations for patient experience improvement. May include ordering linen, scrubs, microfiber products, curtains or other textiles. Qualifications High School Graduate or equivalent (preferred). 1+ years of experience in healthcare (preferred). 1+ years of experience in housekeeping or service?related field (preferred).
