Forklift Operator

Job Description
The Forklift Operator is responsible for moving all materials to its designated areas in the warehouse.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Ensure that lift trucks are inspected for problems at the beginning of each shift. A forklift safety checklist must be filled out prior to operating any forklift.
* Operate lift truck in a safe manner in order to complete the shipment and storage of product. Reference WHS-S001.
* Deliver product and materials to other departments as needed.
* Receive and store pallets and packaging materials.
* Ensure that all warehouse areas are clean.
* Adhere to all department (level III) procedures and work instructions.
* Assist with the identification and elimination of waste within the organization in addition to making suggestions to Warehouse and Shipping Supervisors.
