Project Manager Job Description The Project Manager will oversee software implementation projects and ensure smooth delivery for our customers. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and a strong communicator , with a background in software project coordination and customer engagement. This role involves working with both internal teams and customers to manage project timelines, expectations, and outcomes. Responsibilities: Coordinate and manage software implementation projects from initiation to completion. Work with customers to create business requirement documentation to scope project prior to project initiation. Develop project plans, schedules, and milestones in collaboration with stakeholders. Act as the primary point of contact for customers , ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals. Support resource scheduling and understand resource utilization to ensure efficient project delivery. Facilitate project meetings, including kickoff calls, status updates, and post-implementation reviews. Assist in troubleshooting customer system issues and coordinating with internal teams for resolution. Track project progress, mitigate project risks, and help ensure on?time delivery. Document and report on project updates, risks, and key performance metrics. Learn and utilize project management software to manage customer project and to report progress to internal stakeholders. Support end?users by providing training resources and guidance as needed. Position Requirements: Bachelors degree or equivalent experience. 3?5 years of experience in project management, software implementation, or customer support. Familiarity with project management tools such as Celoxis, Smartsheet, JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, or Teams. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non?technical audiences. Strong problem?solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities. Experience with QuickBooks, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Sage, or other business accounting systems is a plus. Basic knowledge of SQL Server is a plus but not required.
