QA Engineer

Quality Assurance Engineer Our client is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer for its Wire and Cable company.

Position Overview:

This position is responsible for implementing and maintaining the Quality Management System, including the quality lab, calibration, and compliance with ISO9001, UL/CSA, or other regulatory agencies. This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday. Duties & Responsibilities:

Maintain the Quality System (e.g., Internal Audits, Corrective Actions, Document Control, etc.). Maintain the Quality Lab and all associated equipment and processes. Lead and manage communications between Company and Standards Organizations (e.g., UL/CSA/ISO). Lead and manage communications between Company and outside services for all regulatory and compliance programs (e.g., RoHS, Reach, Prop 65, Conflict Minerals, etc.). Lead and manage communications between Company and third-party companies with regards to testing / lab equipment / calibration and other assorted duties Lead and maintain the Calibration Program. Lead and manage all Customer Correspondence related to Quality (e.g., RMA’s, 8D’s, etc.). Maintain KPI structure and reporting. Monitor and track Customer and Supplier metrics. Manage Process Monitoring and Control (e.g., PFEMA, Control Plans, PPAP, etc.) Provide backup and support for the Product Engineer responsibilities. Education & Training:

BS degree minimum required (preferably in Engineering or Science), or equivalent work experience. Wire and Cable experience preferred. Quality Management experience preferred. UL/CSA Standards and Testing experience preferred. Good overall computer skills, including ability to competently use Microsoft Office, ERP, and other Windows computer applications. Ability to read and comprehend technical standards. Benefits:
