The Director of Human Resources (HR) is responsible for performing all HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with the Executive Management Team and supervisors. This position is responsible for benefits administration, employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, recruitment/employment, affirmative action/EEO-1, payroll, and employment law compliance.

Skillset & Experience: Effective communication when working with customers and/or employees. Ability to communicate with employees and understand their functions/processes. Be involved in developing solutions to meet the needs of the customer and/or employees. Flexibility to meet changing workload; highly self-motivated. Be a team player and be respectful to all staff, customers, and prospects. Provide leadership where assigned. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other applicable software. Proficient in creating user-friendly training materials, including instructional guides, blog posts, and video tutorials. Strong project management skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills when working with employees. Strong organization and prioritization skills with attention detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. A bachelor’s degree in human resources and a minimum of five years’ experience in a HR generalist or manager role. Banking experience is preferred.
