Job Overview: As a Server at Minerva's, you will be instrumental in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests. You will provide high-quality food and beverage service while maintaining the standards of excellence expected at our establishment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Service: Warmly greet guests, present menus, and provide detailed information about menu items, specials, and beverages. Accurately take food and drink orders, and offer recommendations to enhance the dining experience.
- Order Management: Input orders into the POS system, ensure timely preparation and delivery of food and beverages, and accommodate special requests or dietary restrictions.
- Service Excellence: Maintain a clean and organized service area, including tables and utensils. Address guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a prompt and professional manner.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with kitchen staff and fellow servers to ensure smooth service. Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas as needed.
- Compliance: Follow health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices. Adhere to all service protocols in accordance with Minervas' policies.
- Experience: Previous experience as a server in a hospitality or restaurant setting is preferred.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently with attention to detail. A passion for providing outstanding guest service.
- Availability: Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
