Job Description: A substitute paraprofessional plays a vital role in assisting classroom teachers in providing extra support to students with special needs, promoting maximum academic and personal growth. The job responsibilities range from supplementing regular classroom curriculum to helping individual students achieve their full potential. Substitute paraprofessionals, also known as school aides or teacher assistants, work closely with educators to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. They provide instructional reinforcement, assist with classroom management, and help administer duties such as setting up equipment and preparing materials.
