OnScent is seeking a Senior Marketing Director to lead the organization into its next chapter of growth. Position ProfileAs member of the OnScent leadership team, the Head of Marketing is responsible for leading the development of marketing strategies including brand marketing, digital marketing and demand generation across categories. In this role, you will define, communicate and help execute a cohesive marketing strategy, inclusive of a digital approach that creates meaningful calls-to- action, presence at critical industry events that exposes decision-makers to OnScent's unique capabilities, a content platform that positions OnScent as a thought leader in the space, and demand generation and sales enablement program to reach new customer prospects more effectively. You will also design and support ongoing B2B customer retention as well business development. This is both a strategic role and a hands-on marketing implementation role. The successful candidate will a collaborative leader that can role up their sleeves while working alongside sales, marketing and customer service teamsKey ResponsibilitiesLead the marketing product launches, including product positioning, promotion, and distribution strategies. Create and deliver product and/or concept presentations as part of the buying process. Create and execute outbound marketing campaigns to support demand generation within existing customer base and new client acquisition.Lead the company's demand generation and lead nurturing capabilities, optimizing and standardizing across the organization to meet or exceed targets. Own the end-to-end lead management process in conjunction with Sales.Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and customer preferences to guide marketing decisions and product development.Build-up, manage and mentor a high-performing marketing team, providing leadership, direction, and support to achieve department goals.Utilize data-driven insights to measure and optimize the impact of marketing activities on customer retention and growth.Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and measuring ROI on marketing initiatives. Oversee the continuous evolution of a strong brand identity, ensuring it resonates with OnScent's target audiences and maintains consistency across all marketing channels.QualificationsA Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communication, or related field of study.At least 10 years of client-side B2B or B2C marketing experience.A minimum of 5 years of leading a marketing team, agencies and resources.Been responsible for the creation and implementation of new product innovation.Hands-on experience with digital content creation, organic and paid media.Working knowledge of marketing technology such as Google Analytics and Salesforce.Working under a private equity-backed company as a marketing leader is preferred.
