Job Description

Distribution Manager Full-Time / Exempt

As a TruckPro Distribution Manager, you will beresponsible for managing warehouse associates and for planning, organizing, and directing distribution activities at our Dallas store location.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Responsible for the efficiency of the distribution team in areas such as picking, packing, stocking, shipping, etc.
  • Complete warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees and following up on work results.
  • Primary contact in overseeing all warehouse documentation and records
  • Maintain warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
  • Maintain general expense, compensation, freight in/freight out, and truck maintenance records.
  • Manage delivery and dispatch system of trucks to customers and/or other stores.
  • Directly responsible for the physical handling of the return of parts to the store and the return of parts to the manufacturer.
  • Demonstrate excellent safety practices and maintains a safe and organized work environment as it relates to equipment, trucks and inventory.
  • Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.
Successful Candidates Will Have:
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required
  • Three to four years of progressive warehouse/delivery experience is preferred
  • Experience managing warehouse / distribution associates
  • Forklift certification
  • Ability to safely lift heavy-duty truck parts
  • Excellent communication (oral written)
  • Customer service orientation
  • Valid driver's license with good driving record
