Job description

Infosys Public Services is seeking a Sr. Okta Specialist to join our Rockville, MD, or Hartford CT Location.

Position Description (scope of work or brief narrative):

  • Configure, support, and maintain Okta SaaS/IpaaS cloud services and Data Management systems.
  • Translates business requirements into design specifications and configurations
  • Analyze industry and technology trends and advise clients on Okta portal enhancement.
  • Manage the timely flow of Okta product changes to users.
  • Identify and analyze Okta trends and their implications for business strategy.
  • Create and maintain a library of model documents, templates, or other reusable knowledge assets.
Required years of experience, training, technical skills, and other requirements for job performance:
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience with Okta Identity and Access Management tools. Configure, support, and maintain Okta SaaS/IpaaS cloud services and Data Management systems.
  • Professional Okta certification
  • Strong understanding of development best practices, continuous integration, source control, and code reviews.
  • Proficiency with modern front-end technologies & API designs. Support user management processes through Okta
  • Experience with professional software development experience with HTML, Javascript, Python, or other professional programming language(s)
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts related to ETL (extract, transform, load) processes and data quality issues
  • Hands-on development, with a willingness to troubleshoot and solve complex problems.
  • Ability to work in a team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
  • Verbal and written communication skills.
Educational Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent is required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive, relevant work experience instead of every year of education. Candidates who have completed a Master's degree program are strongly preferred.
The job also entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face-to-face.
