Title: Senior Java Fullstack Developer

Duration: 3-6 Months (Contract to Hire)

Location: McLean, VA Hybrid (Mon & Fri remote/Tue-Wed-Thu onsite)

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented Java Fullstack Developer to join our dynamic team working with a prestigious banking client. As a Java Fullstack Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining enterprise-level front end applications primarily using Angular or React frameworks. Your expertise in Java programming, AWS Aurora, and Snowflake will be crucial in delivering high-quality solutions that meet our client's needs and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain enterprise front end applications using Angular or React frameworks.
  • Design and implement scalable and high-performance Java-based backend systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Ensure the responsiveness and performance of applications.
  • Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in both front end and back end systems.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our development processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Java Fullstack Developer or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in Java programming language.
  • Experience with enterprise front end development using Angular or React frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS Aurora for database management.
  • Familiarity with Snowflake data warehousing platform.
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Certifications in AWS and/or Snowflake.
  • Experience working in the banking or financial services industry.
