Job Description
A manufacturing company is seeking to hire an AR Specialist. Looking for a candidate who can be responsible for posting daily credit cards, manager the AR, reporting the monthly aging report, balancing daily reconciliations, depositing checks, creating new accounts, charging credit cards, etc. The ideal candidate has previous accounts receivable processing experience and can be on-site.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Process payments and assemble segments of monthly closings and annual reports in compliance with GAAP
  • Carry out general accounting tasks in accordance with standard procedures
  • Enter and balance financial data in a number of ledgers while reconciling bank accounts
  • Maintain, relate, and promote the mission, values and culture of the organization
  • Work with clients to solve payment issues; set up payment plans as needed
  • Reply to information requests from stakeholders, including shippers, customers, and the sales/marketing department
  • Ensure accuracy of documents and codes
Requirements
  • Efficient in ERP systems
  • 1+ years of relevant experience in Media is a MUST
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Digital Media
  • Command of Automated billing
  • Demonstrated analytical skills in basic accounts receivable and accounting policy
  • AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting or related field preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail
