Director of Engineering

If so, you might be the perfect candidate for the Director, Civil Engineering position with the client we are partnering with based in Trenton, NJ & Ocean City, NJ.

The organization we are recruiting on behalf of is a small business enterprise that provides civil engineering, environmental, surveying, landscape architecture, and public outreach services to clients in the mid-Atlantic region. We are looking for a licensed professional engineer with experience in site engineering, stormwater management, utilities, wastewater, land use and municipal representation.

As the Director of Civil Engineering, you will be responsible for project design and management of civil engineering projects, budgets, timelines, and staff. You will also coordinate field visits for data collection, perform hydraulic calculations, design grading and stormwater management systems, prepare technical reports, obtain land development permits, and communicate with clients and stakeholders.

The Ideal Candidate has:

• degree in related field
• Engineering License (NJ minimum, PA and other states desired)
• with AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Microsoft Office applications.
• technical writing skills
• organizational skills, is motivated, and dependable
• valid drivers license
• able to obtain government clearance where necessary
• engineering and permitting experience is a plus
