Requirements
- Responsible for the development of heavy civil design projects, focusing on transportation-related structures (bridges, walls, etc.).
- Perform structural engineering calculations from preliminary to final design, primarily self-sufficiently for basic design efforts, and with support on more complex assignments.
- Provide markups for plans and lead cost estimates.
- Coordinate with project staff, other disciplines, subconsultants, clients, and reviewers to ensure accuracy and quality of work.
- Manage and maintain project documentation, including meeting project schedules, budgets, and scope.
- Assist in proposal development, scopes of work, and fee schedule preparation.
- 4+ years of structural design experience required, primarily in surface transportation.
- A PE is strongly preferred, or a demonstrated ability to achieve within a year of hire, and a desire to earn your SE is beneficial.
- BSCE is required, MSCE is a plus but not necessary.
- Flexible Schedule available
- Bridge design experience with preventative maintenance, rehabilitation and reconstruction of existing bridges and plan preparation is preferred.
- Proficient in Microstation and/or Autocad, MathCAD, and standard design bridge design software. Proficiency with CSiBridge, LARSA, or MIDAS is a strong benefit.
- Well versed with AASHTO LRFD.
- Strong written and oral communication skills are required.
- Strong commitment to client service, both internal and external, is required.

Work Environment
