About the Role:
- We are seeking a Technical Operations Shift Engineer to provide direct on-floor support for the manufacture of sterile antibiotic products.
- The successful candidate will work closely with operations, quality, and maintenance personnel to troubleshoot issues, observe processes, and ensure smooth operations.
- This role involves shift work and technical investigations, as well as contributing to process and equipment safety reviews.
- Provide technical support for vaccine, biologic, and sterile manufacturing processes Analyze data, troubleshoot issues, and write reports
- Support change control implementation
- Learn new processes and procedures
- Conduct technical investigations and analyses
- Recommend and implement corrective and preventative actions
- Write, review, and improve procedures for equipment and processes
- Contribute to process and equipment safety reviews.
- B.S. or M.S. degree in biology, biochemistry, biochemical engineering, biological systems engineering, biomedical engineering, chemical engineering, computer science, integrated science, or related disciplines
- Excellent academic record
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Hands-on approach to problem-solving
- Ability to examine issues from diverse perspectives
- Enthusiasm, confidence, and initiative-taking ability
- Strong desire to succeed and help others succeed
- Preferred Experiences: - Experience working in a cGMP environment
- Work, co-op, or internship experience in industry
- Beta Lactam required.
- Technically sound candidates willing to troubleshoot on the floor in a manufacturing environment are preferred.
- The Technical Operations Shift Engineer will work directly on the production floor, assisting with the manufacture of sterile antibiotic products.
- The role involves troubleshooting, observing processes, and addressing issues to minimize impact and restore normalcy.
- Shift work is required, and technical writing and process deviation investigations are part of the responsibilities.
